Spending a Friday night knitting is awesome.

It does not make you “boring” or someone with “no life”. Doing something you like means you have a hobby, which makes you interesting by default. If you’re worried about having no life, then knit on Friday and go out on Saturday! Making posts to complain about it will get you nowhere.
